‘Third and Final’ Bob-A-Long looks to finish line at Sorosis this October
Through seven decades Bob Thouvenel has coached at his hometown high school and to celebrate his 80th birthday a “third and final” Bob-A-Long run will be held at Sorosis Park on Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. You can register now. All donations will benefit The Dalles High School Cross Country Team. Bob was on the first TDHS Cross Country Team in 1959.

The first-time event headed up by the board at the Home At Last animal shelter saw a great crowd as additional chairs and tables were called for as the room swelled to over 60 people.

The 37-year-old self-taught body man with a seven-year-old had a stroke on March 7 and passed away on Saturday, March 18. No one saw it coming. Now his friends are pulling out their soap buckets and sponges and are asking for donations for TD’s Rojelio’s family in exchange for a clean vehicle. The car wash is on Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 405 W. 2nd, The Dalles.

The Dalles Cascade Singers and The-Almost-All-Irish-Almost-All-Brass-Band present the annual St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser at St. Peter’s Landmark. D21 Education Foundation looking to raise $10k, reports on 2020 impact
The Foundation is encouraged by the incredible generosity of The Dalles community and beyond that contributed over $38,000 last year.
