Natalie Cressman at The Ruins

The Ruins in Hood River presents Natalie Cressman and Ian Faquini on Thursday, March 23. 

“Natalie Cressman has spent the past eleven years touring the jam band circuit as a horn player and vocalist with Phish's Trey Anastasio, while also collaborating with many illustrious figures on the New York City jazz scene, including  Phish, Big Gigantic, Carlos Santana, Escort, Wycliffe Gordon, Nicholas Payton, Anat Cohen, The Motet, and Umphrey's McGee.”  

“Born in Brasília and raised in Berkeley, Ian Faquini was a member of the renowned Berkeley High School Jazz program before going on to study at the California Jazz Conservatory. He has performed throughout Europe, Japan, Brazil and the United States and has shared the stage and recording studio with such names as Guinga, Brad Mehldau, Chris Potter, Spok, Lee Konitz, Fleurine, among many others.”

‘Union of Saints’ concert at Granada Theater

The Granada Theater in The Dalles presents Christian Rock performers The Union of Sinners & Saints on Saturday, March 25. The band features John Schlitt (Petra), Billy Smiley (WhiteHeart) and support from Jason Fowler on the Unplugged Storyteller Tour. About the Artist

The Dalles Art Center presents the 2023 Student Art Show featuring artwork from Elementary, Middle and High School students from The Dalles and Dufur. ‘Opera Cecilia’ at Wy’east Performing Arts Center

Opera Cecilia will perform with the Columbia Gorge Sinfonietta on Saturday and Sunday, April 1-2, at the Wy’east Performing Arts Center.

Opera singers Tanis and Talor Gonzaga bring their “Don't Fear the Diva!” show to the stage, and promise to “deliver opera like it has never been before.” The duo “rejects the need for perfectionism in the production of classical music, and they have become a part of the new face of opera.”

Sinfonietta conductor Mark Steighner says “‘Don’t Fear the Diva’ offers music from the 18th through the 20th century, with everything being accessible, emotional, fun and tuneful. It’s a program for everyone, from the long-time opera lover to the total novice. There’s nothing to be afraid of…except maybe falling in love with opera!”

The Greenneck Daredevils are returning to the River City Saloon in Hood River for the first time since their sold out Halloween Bash. Hood River’s original outlaw country songster Crazy Pete is opening the set, so you know it’s going to get wild. Friday, March 31, 9 p.m. 21+ only.

About the Band

“The Jeremiahs is an Irish folk band that comprises four musicians who have come together with the common goal of writing, composing and performing folk songs and music. They have traveled extensively,  bringing their music far and wide and are heralded as a live band not to be missed. With a wonderful mixture of  newly composed songs and tunes in the folk genre and a well selected catalog of older folk songs, they are sure to rouse all the emotions. 

Hailing from County Dublin is singer Joe Gibney on vocals. On fiddle, viola and vocals is County Cork’s Niamh Varian-Barry (formerly of Solas).  On flutes and whistles is the French born Julien Bruneteau and on Guitar is Dublin born James Ryan.”
