Dufur, Ore. Aug. 12, 2024 — The Threshing Bee event in Dufur, Oregon, held on August 10-11, was a vibrant celebration that blended the community’s agricultural roots with a lively festival atmosphere.

The event was a nod to the town's historical wheat farming heritage, featuring demonstrations of old-time threshing techniques, where vintage machinery was brought to life, showcasing how wheat was harvested in the early 20th century.

The parade, a highlight of the event, marched through Dufur’s main street, filled with vintage tractors, antique cars, and local floats, all meticulously decorated to reflect the town's pioneer spirit. Residents and visitors lined the streets, enjoying the nostalgic display of rural life.

In addition to the parade, the event featured various activities, including a classic car show, craft vendors, and live music, all set against the backdrop of Dufur’s scenic landscape.
