Tree Work on Brewery Grade

The Dalles, Ore., May 15, 2026 — On Thursday, May 21, 2026, the City of The Dalles Public Works contractor will cut and remove trees near Brewery Grade.

Intermittent road closures will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, and continue throughout the day. Flaggers will stop vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians while trees are felled into the roadway. When the tree debris is cleaned up, flaggers will direct vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians safely through the work zone. Each closure could be in place for up to 30 minutes.

Work hours are from 8:00 a.m. until work is complete. The traveling public is advised to use alternate routes when possible.

Please proceed with caution in this area during street closures. Please observe all temporary traffic control devices. Thank you for your attention to traveling safety during this work.
