This prestigious exhibition celebrates the beauty and versatility of traditional watercolor.
Founded in 1966, the Watercolor Society of Oregon is one of the nation’s premier watercolor organizations, with nearly 500 active members. This annual Fall Exhibition is one of WSO’s signature events, and this year, it will coincide with the organization’s three-day annual convention at The Civic Auditorium. The convention will bring about 150 artists, instructors, and guests to The Dalles for classes, plein-air painting sessions, meetings, and awards.
The 2025 exhibition will be juried by internationally renowned watercolorist Stan Miller. Based in Spokane, Washington, Miller is an award-winning artist who has taught workshops around the world. In addition to selecting the works for the juried show, Miller will lead a four-day watercolor workshop at The Civic Auditorium. The workshop is limited to 25 students; tuition is $450.
