Wyld Lee, The Feral Oracle of Mt. Hood, Brings the Magic of Rebirth to the Gorge
By Cole Goodwin
As the new year approaches, many people are looking for ways to improve their lives and make positive changes. And in a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, many are turning to ancient practices and wisdom to find guidance and clarity. One such practitioner is Wyld Lee, known as the Feral Oracle of Mt. Hood Oregon, she offers a unique blend of services through her business Wyld Fempyre.
Wyld Lee is a local seer, reiki (energy healing) practitioner, map maker, priestess and Tarot reader who offers a range of individually tailored services to help individuals heal, grow, reinvent themselves, and find their path in life.
She is also a master of reinvention. As a mother and recent empty nester, she recently shaved all of her hair off in a ceremonial act to acknowledge the changing seasons of her life. As an advocate of wisdom sharing and transparency, she even later detailed her personal process and experience on her facebook. Something she says was “a very hard for thing for me to do.”
Wyld has been reading tarot since she was 19 years old, and says she was drawn to the discipline of somatic divination and energy work because of her profound faith in “Great Mystery.” She realized she could turn her intuitive gift into a business six years ago, when a friend suggested she read tarot for a living and quit her stressful job.
But what really sets Wyld apart from other practitioners is her focus on "rebirth and reinvention." As she explains, "Wyld Fempyre is my antidote to our culture of empire and excess. In my work, we place your cultural conditioning and programming on the sacred pyre (fire) of evolution and watch it burn until the phoenix of your soul rises from the ashes unscathed and fresh with innocence and inspiration."
Wyld is especially passionate about helping women to reclaim their power and step into their birthright of wholeness, influence, creativity, and impact. She believes that when women fully return to their power and sovereignty, everything in their lives deepens and becomes magical.
“Most of my clients are women who are in need of support during times of transition. Birth, death, divorce, loss of home, loss of relationship, loss of purpose or joy,” she says.
For Wyld, the idea of rebirth is central to her work. "It is time for women to step out of our domestication and into our birthright of wholeness, influence, creativity, and impact," she says. "Time to heal… for ourselves, fellow women, children, humans, animals, trees, plants, soil…for Mama Earth of whom we are all a part."
Wyld's clients rave about the transformative power of her work. "Working with Wyld was like coming home to myself," says one client. "She has a way of holding space that is both gentle and fierce, allowing me to access deep healing and clarity."
Another client adds, "Wyld has a gift for helping people tap into their own wisdom and inner guidance. She is a true healer and guide on the journey of self-discovery and transformation."
“Sessions with Wyld are truly transformational. You will walk away feeling seen, heard, inspired and revitalized in ways you were not expecting,” says another client. “Magic is meant to be felt, not explained.”
With a unique blend of ancient practices and modern techniques, Wyld Lee offers a powerful path to rebirth and reinvention through her business Wyld Fempyre. For those seeking guidance and healing, or just looking to make positive changes in the new year, Wyld's services are a valuable resource on the journey towards wholeness and empowerment.
As she says, "The transmission is simple: undo your own domestication and your life will shift. You have the power to rebirth yourself!"

Meet Wyld Lee
What drew you to this discipline of somatic divination and energy work?
I have profound faith in Great Mystery and I really appreciate how magical it is to get valuable information from both my divination tools and my body that help other people make sense of their lives.
What is it like to resonate with a client and get to share in their sorrow, anger, joy and successes?
It has taken me time and sitting with many Elders to learn how to be in that space and sense the feelings without feeling them fully myself. Now I can sit in intimacy and taste the emotions and guide within them without my nervous system getting confused or aligning to the clients experience. I like to envision it like tuning forks- I hold my vibration so strongly that the client can allow themselves to be held and vulnerable in their sharing… and when they are ready to release the old stuck energy, their nervous system can attune to mine. This allows clients to walk out of a session with me feeling vibrant, rejuvenated and more relaxed.
How many clients do you see a day on average?
Never more than 3- it takes a lot of energy to hold space the way I do. Usually 1-2 then I have time to write content, make videos and do the less fun stuff required to own a business.
How do you access your powers of divination in a session?
I begin each session 30-60 minutes prior to the client arriving by setting my sacred circle, calling in the Directions, my allies, guides, teachers and well ancestors. I give offerings and thanks to the land here and to all of life. Then I clear and center myself often by burning some herbs, using my tuning forks, dancing or being very still. Then once I’m fully IN my body, I pray to be of service to this person and to allow the messages needed to flow through my channel with ease. Then I read the client intake, pull some cards, stones, bones to give me insight and then jump right in once they arrive!
How would you clear up a client's misconceptions about what you do?
I wouldn’t. I have no desire to convince anyone of my magic… I would invite them to a session and allow them to experience the mystery for themselves.
Do you have a favorite tarot deck?
Tarot of the Cat People is my tarot deck… and I am releasing my own oracle deck next year called The Feral Oracle that I am really excited about!
How do you choose which deck to work with?
Intuition! I run my hands over the decks and the one that is right feels “warm” to me.
How did you learn to trust your intuition in an untrusting world?
I have a lot of evidence in my 46 years of times when things did not go as I prefer… and every single time I had a hit of knowing prior to my less practical or more harmful choices. I can say with full trust that my gut never lies to me. I learned this by NOT trusting for so long!
Can you ever have too many tarot decks?
I think you can always have addictions and over consumption in this world of capitalism and lack of dignity for the Earth’s precious resources. Find deep relationships and you don’t need a gazillion of them- this is my philosophy for decks, friendships, shoes…. Anything really. How much does a single human actually need?
What is the most misunderstood card in tarot?
I would say its a three way tie between the Devil, the Tower and Death. These can be perceived as the darkest cards of the Major Arcana but they are some of my favorites! Death is actually total transformation, the Tower gives us permission to let it all crumble to be built anew… and the Devil reminds us to monitor our addictive tendencies. All the cards are good medicine in my opinion.
Do you still study tarot or are you pretty much an expert at this point?
Well I do find myself following a couple inspiring people and occasionally picking up an interesting book… but I also hold a very wild philosophy of Tarot and so I am already an expert as well! I believe you most certainly can learn the old system set up by an original human…but that system is so limited in its nuance and its quite influenced by the era of its conception. I use that system as a base and then add to it the specificity of the particular tool (or deck) being used. In this way, Tarot can become quite personal and uniquely your own simply by the influence of the artwork, choice of colour, theme ,mood, the readers relationship to the objects and subjects shown on each card. All of this is data that can be profound for a client. All of it lives in the Great Mystery betwixt and between us all. So my way is both historically accurate and masterful in that regard as well as intrinsically nuanced and different from any other reader you will meet. And I like it that way! I am offering my first course of learning to read Tarot your way - called The Feral Tarot - in 2023 and I am sooo excited to explore this concept with others.
You also use reiki, crystals, tuning forks, pendulum, sound medicine, drum and song in your resonance sessions. How do these tools help guide the spirit?
I use these in Resonance sessions for my clients who want a more embodied experience. After finding the challenges in the mind, we move to the table to journey and find healing in the body and heart while inviting in the soul to guide us and offer deeper information.
When is a good time to seek a tarot reading or session with you?
It depends on your current life circumstances. If in a crisis, I would suggest a longer coaching container with sessions every 2-3 weeks to really support the person in transition. For less stressful scenarios- quarterly is a good habit to stay in tune. Some clients enjoy beginning of year readings for the whole year, or birthday check ins. And of course whenever a big decision needs to be made!
What would you like people to know about your sessions?
That each and every session is wholly unique and created just for you. You will receive the medicine you need. I look forward to sharing space with you.
