The Dalles public pool will close tomorrow as supply disruptions have led to region-wide chlorine shortages across the Pacific Northwest.

Mill Creek Corridor Pathway to Center The Dalles
TD just scored a new bike and pedestrian trail on Mill Creek, giving residents and visitors a pedestrian-friendly place to walk or ride bikes and take in the beauty. It’s a healthy step for The Dalles as Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation Director Scott Baker pointed out it will safely provide greater access to parks and neighborhoods in years to come.

'Wagons Ho!' at Dry Hollow
Fourth-graders hit the trail this morning, June 8, at Dry Hollow Elementary as the classes re-enacted the historical 2000-mile Oregon Trail journey from Independence, Missouri to Oregon City.
TD Road Work on Thursday and Friday
On Thursday and Friday, June 10 and 11, City crews and contractors will complete two pavement preservation projects. Work on sections of Bridge Street will force a complete closure for drivers and work on Scenic Drive will limit traffic to a single lane with flaggers.
Boil Water Order lifted in TD
We are pleased to report that the water mains have been repaired. Tests show no bacteria in City water and you no longer need to boil your water before drinking it. A total of 24 tests had to be taken to ensure that no harmful bacteria were in the water.

14U Sluggers Team Takes Home Another 1st Place
This past weekend May 29-31 the 14U Sluggers baseball team had their final tournament in Hillsboro. They captured first place once again in the Northwest Nations Memorial Day Challenge.
