Your Sign's 2021 Horoscope Predictions for the New Year
HAPPY NEW YEAR MY BELOVED READERS!
2020 is on the way out. So, this month instead of doing your average monthly star overview, I thought we’d go big and cover the entire 2021 astrological forecast!
So what’s ahead of us?
Well, this year will be a return to a somewhat “normal” cycle in astrology, unlike the last year of rare and difficult planet placements not seen in some years. Although rest assured what we're talking about is the "new normal" not back to business as usual as we move into the age of Aquarius.
So what are the big astrological events to look forward to in 2021?
In Chinese Astrology: 2021 is the year is the Year of the Metal Ox.
What that means:
A year of “Yin” (feminine energy).
A year of increased focus on family, friendships, and creating harmony in our relationships.
A year of necessary doubling of one's efforts to accomplish one's goals and responsibilities.
A year of diligent, practical, logical thinking applied towards action.
The Jupiter Saturn Conjunction in December Continues to Make Waves
In traditional astrology, a Jupiter Saturn Conjunction is one of those “tent poles” of history type moments, defining centuries at a time. The last conjunction was in Taurus in 2000. But after having spent the last 20 years heavy with earth energy, we’re moving into a new era, the age of Aquarius.
We’re changing now from living within the patterns of earth to the patterns of air. One way to think of this is: If earth energy is the stable ever constant pull of gravity, air energy is like a weather current. It changes, it transforms, it becomes something new and cycles back again. Air energy has a way of shaping the landscape in which we live, scattering our carefully racked leaf piles, encouraging us to let our imaginations take flight, carrying fire further, making waves bigger, carrying ships across the sea and planes across the skies, shifting the sand around to let us see what’s beneath. We’re moving away from structure and hierarchy and into a period of increased unpredictability, and networking.
This age of Aquarius urges us to start thinking like pilots instead of farmers.
Aquarius asks us: Where are you going? How high can you fly? What currents are you noticing? Are you ready to take the wheel and fly the plane? Are you ready to captain the ship? If not what do you still have to learn? How ready are you for the unpredictable nature of the skies? Are you noting the weather before you take flight?
Jupiter in Aquarius, A breath of fresh air, changes in thinking.
Jupiter spent most of the past year in the materialistic earth sign, Capricorn. Capricorn is the sign of “I want to achieve”. That transit helped draw our attention to the truth of our ambitions, and the ambitions of others, and how they aid and abet or conflict with patriarchal and hierarchical structures in society. However, this energy can be a bit stuffy, and oppressive. And now that we’ve spent seven years in this sign, working like mad, it's time for a new period of achievement, with slightly different goals that move us away from ideas that put our sense of self-worth in material holdings and other's perceptions.
Now, Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, and ruler of the fire sign, Sagittarius, the truth seeker is in Aquarius for most of 2021. Moving us away from materialism and nationalism towards a worldly perspective and humanitarianism. We are seeing the ways in which the industrious, materialistic, and earthbound values of grandfather Capricorn have not always served the greater good and are now entering into the wild world of wind. Where we will learn that to take flight is an act of adapting to the atmosphere. It is a yin energy, a time of learning how to flow, reevaluating our life paths, habits, letting go of what keeps us from spreading our wings and flying into an era of self-improvement.
It is an age of space travel, of technology, and truth-seeking. It is a year for mental stimulation through education, and logic puzzles. It is a year of engaging in a worldly perspective, taking a holistic and humanist approach to the way we look at the world. Aquarius asks us to see the world as a world of people, full of individuals, each one unique. Aquarius is not interested in the politics of nations and institutions. Aquarius is bored by traditions that do not serve up humanitarianism. Aquarius cares deeply for the impact they have and seeks to reform and transform the political, social, and economic spheres.
So it is no surprise that humanitarian values take center stage in 2021. Social Justice movements will keep their forward momentum this year by pushing for education, stoking the fires of forward-thinking, and making use of Uranus in Taurus by approaching problems with logic, planning, organization, and diplomacy.

Will be most beneficial for
Aquarius, Aries, Gemini, Libra, and Sagittarius,
Will be challenging but potentially the most impactful for
The signs that might have to work harder to benefit from Jupiter in Aquarius but may also have the most to gain from this placement are Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio.
Saturn in Aquarius, The Ruler gets a lesson from the Rebel Child of the Zodiac
Saturn will be in Aquarius from December 17th 2020 until March 7th, 2023 which means things are going to change. Saturn, the planet of self-discipline that rules the sign Capricorn, is often a bit of a strict and rigid planet that places a high value on order. Now, however, Saturn will be moving under the sign of Aquarius.
The last time Saturn was in Aquarius was in 1994 at the dawning of the world wide web. So don’t doubt the power of this transit to create radical change, especially in information and technology fields. Aquarius is the rebel student, who can be a bit slow to get started at accomplishing a task, but usually sees it through once they get going. Part of this is because Aquarius thinks big about the future, and especially about innovation, and sometimes finding the next logical step to a big dream takes a lot of research before taking action. Fortunately, Aquarius works well in groups, so this is a good year for think tanks, collaboration, joining a cohort, and finding your people.
Saturn in Aquarius also urges us to have a lighter hand in matters of discipline and move towards the reformation of systems that seek to demonize and criminalize as opposed to educating and reforming. Aquarius sees potential for growth in every individual, as they can envision so many alternate futures.
This year may feel full of distractions and escapism as that rebel child inside you may have trouble sitting down to do their homework. But that is not always a bad thing. Aquarius invites us to find the fun in what is unique about each of us, and with it, hope for a better future. Just remember to live in the present too.
Uranus in Taurus, Tense Transitions Abound, Economic Change
Uranus will be in Taurus until 2025. Uranus rules the sign of Aquarius, the air sign who revels in rebellion, change, and reformation. The combination of Uranus, planet of making a revolution of what ‘should be’, with Taurus, the sign best known for being extra stubborn in the face of change, (especially if that change comes to threaten their creature comforts) makes for an uneasy combination.
Looking back at history can help us understand this transit better. The last time Uranus was last in Taurus, it was leading up to World War II when the great depression famously led to large surges in nationalism on a national and global scale. It was also a time when massive economic reform occurred and people’s relationships with money changed drastically. It brought the US some radical economic policies such as Rosevelt’s New Deal and Works Progress Administration.
Much like that time, this year will see much tension between old hierarchical values, nationalism, scapegoating, xenophobia, racism, and more futurist style thinking. This is a time where individuals fighting for equity and freedom and those who stand against them will be center stage. It is a time when economic reform will become necessary and shifting attitudes about wealth and self-worth will shape the next decade.
These shifts will not come easily. Earth energy can be grounding in a positive sense, feeling connected to one's body, feeling connected to the earth. But it can also be trapping, keeping us with our noses in the dirt, forgetting to reach for the skies. Taurus energy is like a beautiful rock cairn or pyramid, carefully stacked, heavy, solid, strong, immovable. It is the kind of energy that holds a place together firmly, but unchangingly. Creating a safe comfortable space for those who are doing well, but also creating very little space for individuals who are trapped to escape hierarchal systems. Taurus likes to follow the rules, not because they see any particular intrinsic value in the rules, they just like to know what the “right thing to do” is and can struggle with worry and fear when expectations are unclear. Uranus is less predictable, it revels in the unknown, for it perceives uncertainty as a possibility. It is an idealist who seeks to reform society. Uranus is not a house with four square walls, it does not like rules, it is a breeze that comes in through the window and transforms into a hurricane, tearing down the walls of prisons.
This planet in this sign is something of a wrench in the year, but reconciliation isn’t impossible...but much like society, this pairing will have a lot to work out over the next few years. Those who can learn to face and engage with uncertainty with optimism and creativity will fare best during this movement.
Note: Uranus has been in retrograde since August 15th, 2020, and will remain so until January 14th, 2021. Uranus goes direct on January 14th bringing some of that intertrospection to an end and putting more of a focus on outward action. Uranus will retrograde again from August 19th, 2021, until January 18th, 2022 inviting us to reassess our feminine presentation, eating, drinking, exercising, and our relationship to the material.
Uranus in Taurus Predictions
Changing relationships to money, radical shifts towards creating a more equitable economic future, the advancement of women’s rights, including trans-women, trans-feminine, nonbinary, and queer-identified womxn.
A general tenseness and fear surrounding change.
Fear getting in the way of increasing the quality of life for all people.
Those who struggle to see an optimistic future as individuals may forsake their identity and freedom for the stability of nationalism.
Struggles to work collectively to adapt to a changing economic landscape.
Friendships left unattended may blow up in your face.
How to use that Taurean energy to your advantage
Taurus is a softie underneath their carefully curated aesthetic so don't be so intimidated by them that you fail to enjoy the company of Uranus in this sign this year. Here are some tips on tapping into that energy in a positive and constructive way.
Taurus takes notice of the little things, likes polite people, enjoys diplomacy and places a high value on perseverance and consistent effort.
To be productive and create change during this Uranus in Taurus, it’s all a matter of how you approach things, bringing too much to the table at once may overwhelm the room and undermine your cause. If you’re trying to present a new idea or project this year, bring a level head, a logical approach, and have a clear plan for what’s next. Present your idea as a series of small steps, and focus on maintaining a consistent effort to create changes you’d like to see as opposed to trying a complete overhaul overnight, which is the sort of thing that puts that Taurean energy ill at ease. Not necessarily because they don’t agree, mind you. Taurus tends to understand the actual pace of work, especially physical and bureaucratic work, and doesn’t trust hasty change to adhere to short timelines. This factor of ignoring or being overly optimistic about the timeline gets Taurus cranky, feeling like you’re wasting their time, and wondering whether they’ll end up having to take a custodial role of “cleaning up” after others have misjudged the actual time, cost, and resources necessary to complete their project. Coming prepared with responses to questions and potential pushback before you receive it will take your ideas further by showing your dedication to solving the problem, not just changing for the sake of changing, and therefore providing that Uranus in Taurus energy with a sense of stability and security it needs to be able to make a decision.
Also, maybe take a note from the sugar cube loving bull of the zodiac and make food a part of your winning strategy this year...Taurus is the king of “Sorry for the things I said while I was hungry.” So if Taurus has something to teach us it’s that a well fed bull is a happy bull. Taurus energy is about appreciating beauty, creature comforts, sensual experiences and being generous... if you take the right tact. Taking an interest in the bodily health and happiness of yourself and those around you is the kind of approach that puts the bull in your corner, horns and all. It’s also one kind of from-the-ground-up, physical, tangible change that Taurus energy enjoys supporting.
Other tips for working with Uranus in Taurus energy
Separate your sense of worth from your wealth. Having a stable sense of self will insulate you from toxic overly material ideas. Your value as a person is not attached to a dollar sign. Your identity and your value should not be based on the car you drive.
Assess your possessions, keep what adds beauty and joy to your life, and monetize what you do not need. Don’t throw out something just to get rid of it though.
Cultivate a habit of choosing quality over quantity in all things.
Taurus is an earth sign and helps us put the focus on our body. This is a good year for changing the way you eat to make it healthy, fresh, fun, and very importantly, delicious.
You might find that getting along gets you further than going it alone.
Engage in the unexpected and uncertain in safe sensual ways to learn to lessen your fear or the unknown and potential failure- try a new position in the bedroom or cook with foods you’ve never cooked with before.
Mars Stays Direct All Year Long, Increasing Confidence and Personal Drive
Mars stays direct all year, taking us out of a time of introspection and into a period of courageous action. Mars is a confident planet. It is the inner voice that says “I want this and I’m going to get it”. All that intensive internal work that you've been putting in over the past year has given you the confidence we need to transform ourselves into the people we want to move through the world as. Now is the time to put your thoughts and plans into action. Especially action surrounding how you present your masculinity, perform in your sexual relationships, and how you engage in/with healthy competition.
Mars won’t go retrograde again until 2022.
Saturn Square Uranus, Conservative Politics Clash with Modern Views
Saturn planet of “I want to accomplish” is sitting in Aquarius this year and will square off with Uranus in 2021 for the first time in 22 years. This pairing will continue squaring off and on for the next two years.
Anytime something is “squaring off” in the stars it denotes tension, making challenges more challenging but also making the good times feel that much better too. Saturn will be riding high with rebel energy and pushing for change but with Uranus in Taurus, tensions between modern thinking and conservative views will be high. It is a time of challenging government systems, criminalization, inequity, and widespread civil unrest. Bringing down old regimes, radically reshaping our relationship to technology, and accelerating the creation of new systems and looking to other nations and cultures and seeking wisdom from them on how to bild equitable societies.
Many opposed to change will argue that “now is not the time”. This will create increased tension between have and have-nots. Many people whose lives hang in the balance will be forced to respond that “now is the only time we have.” This can lead to arguments, discord and potentially spark conflicts. Mostly between those who have lost their individual identities and sense of worth in the scramble for material possessions, nationalism, wealth, tradition and those who are leaning into their individuality, evolving, and progressing to live more in the present moment with an eye on the future instead of the past.
So while it doesn’t look like the political landscape is going to get less heated this year, progressives and independents are getting an extra boost from the Aquarian energy of this year and that can make things a bit lighter, organized, and spontaneous.
How to Prepare
Avoid bottling things up only to burst from frustration later.
Be flexible but don’t compromise if it hurts, because either way, you’re screwed. And you might as well feel good.
Be prepared to take the high road.
Chiron in Aries Dares Us to Heal with Haste
Chiron, a comet named for the wise and wounded centaur healer, is in action-oriented Aries until 2027 urging us to stop wasting time, and get to healing our wounds and get to making leaps and bounds in healing from intergenerational trauma.
According to legend, Chiron the great centaur, spent his youth in isolation, his career seeking truth through the study and practice of medicine, and gave his life in an act of compassion for all of humanity when he took Prometheus’s place, freeing him from eternal torment by accepting Prometheus’s pain as his own.
This year Chiron will form several partnerships with the planets Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto this year to help us heal our deepest wounds related to our relationship with the law, oppression, responsibility, socio-political circumstances, our bodies, and our dreams, whether they be past dreams we’ve discarded or aspirations we have for the future.
Chiron will also continue to push us to find better healthcare solutions for ourselves and others. It encourages us to place a high value on healing and healing processes, healing intergenerational trauma, taking a holistic approach to healing our bodies and minds, deepen our empathy for ourselves and others.
What’s in Store for Your Sign
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Last year was a big year for processing your trauma with some particularly tricky but passionate retrogrades in your ruling planet Mars. But this year, Mars will be direct all year, leveling out your energy levels, and pushing you through new rites of passage. You're feeling more capable than ever to stand up for what you believe in. But this year you may also find yourself taking a step back from the public political landscape to focus on your independence from internalized oppressions and pushing forward towards higher self-esteem by embracing your journey. You're feeling a bit rebellious this year so it will be important to be clear about what you want in your relationships. This year you’re learning how to make space for your healthiest relationships to flourish. And notice how, just by creating that safe healthy space-you have less tolerance and less space to entertain what's not healthy. This year you may be doing some emotional pruning, ridding yourself of toxic friendships, and building new friend groups and connections.
Be mindful of: You may struggle with wanting to spend all your time engaging in leisure activities and fun distractions but beware if these activities start to become addictive and/or consistently get in the way of your responsibilities
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
You have a lot to look forward to this year, and while it doesn't look to be anything less than a bumpy ride, look at all you've already managed to weather in 2020. You are strong Taurus, and learning that change doesn't always bring disaster will be a big theme for you in 2021. Uranus is in your sign until 2025, bringing change along with it. Meaning this year you'll be pushing yourself far beyond your usual comfort zone and into a more public role in your community.
Your ruling planet Venus is on transits this year that will shape the focus of your life this year to be geared towards love and acceptance. You will feel compelled to make changes to the way you move through the world, largely in your internal world of thought and emotions. Being independent is a form of self-care in many instances. Learning to rely on yourself and your abilities is an important part of building trust in yourself. You may ruffle some feathers when you express independent attitudes, especially if you’re prone to codependent relationships. Just remind them and yourself that investing in yourself and building trust in yourself is work worth doing. Try to get into the habit of grounding yourself this year- especially if you find yourself feeling a bit untethered by the Aquarian energy.
You'll feel more spiritually connected this year and you can use that connection to help you learn and accept radical mental and intellectual change into your life as well as learn how to best communicate your insight so you can share it with others. Just don't mistake participating in religion with true spiritual connectedness to your community or you'll miss the point.
Get back to basics at work. Focus on building strong foundations instead of temporary fixes and be prepared to develop a new relationship with money that works best for your happiness. This year you’ll really have to commit to taking action in your career if you want to advance. You may find inspiration through travel, reading, and creative expression. You’re feeling up to a creative project this year so it’s a good time to publish that book you’ve been thinking about writing. Flexing your competitive muscles can also help you gain confidence in the work and business world.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
This year you’re focused on the big picture and feeling prone to strokes of genius. You'll be feeling more in tune with yourself than ever this year and might find yourself at the center of attention. Your mind is expanding to embrace new ideas about multiculturalism, and multi-species futures. Travel can bring inspiration and reignite your love for the world.
Although you’ll have your ups and downs this year just like everyone else, your broader life perspective is teaching you to embrace adventure and stop worrying about the small stuff. After all, when you look back at your life what do you remember? All that you’ve accomplished? All the support you’ve received? Or that one time at the grocery store where someone cut in front of you in line? You’re maturing and expanding Gemini, not by leaning into pessimism but by leaning into the moment, being present with the people around you, and having an optimistic view of the future. In general, this year you’re going to feel supported and even more importantly you’ll be working on feeling worthy of that support. It's time to heal old wounds that prevent you from fully embracing the spotlight.
This is a good year for your career, especially if you have a career in communications, teaching, publishing, writing, and media. Trust your gut Gemini and keep up the momentum you’ve built over the past year. You're on track to grow professionally. Be on the lookout for ways to expand to reach a wider audience. New admirers will find their way to you.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
The moon rules your sign Cancer, this year, get a lunar calendar and keep track of it’s comings and goings. It might give you some gravitational perspective, and help you be compassionate towards your own ever-shifting and transforming inner landscape. The past year has put a lot of demand on your nurturing abilities. This year, things are shifting for you that you thought never would. You have an opportunity to release your karma and reclaim your own sense of independence and authority over yourself.
Be honest with yourself about how much energy you can give away and how much you need in order to be healthy yourself. Reassess the way you show care and intimacy- is it really care you’re showing or is it enabling behavior? Are you maintaining relationships just to keep the peace even though it actually hurts you? This year it’s time to flex some independence and get in touch with what it means to have true intimacy and develop an attachment style that allows you to continue to grow. It’s time to be an individual inside and outside of your relationships. The people who are best for you want to know the REAL you, not just the you who ‘takes care of’ them. If you’re spending too much time wondering what they are thinking and feeling, then you’re not spending enough time on your own feelings. This year your relationships may take you on a new romantic adventure. Remember that feelings come and go, but deep commitments to truth, honesty, and intimacy can hold things together even through the toughest emotions.
Focus on your desire to learn and feed your intellectual needs. Focus on what makes you special and don’t sell yourself short on the value of what you bring to the table. The more space you make for what’s interesting, healthy and feels in your life, the less room there will be for toxicity. Maintain a positive outlook, but avoid taking on too much debt this year. Now is not the time for you to be paying from a pot that's already empty. Take a slow and steady approach to your finances and be on the lookout for career opportunities in the spring.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
As the planets shift so is your life path.
This is your year to move forward and rethink what success looks like for you on a grand scale. The planets put key focus on celebrating love, career paths, and learning what things in your life and inhibiting your self-growth for Leo this year. This will not be an easy ride, it will be an obstacle course. But Leo, you've already jumped through so many hoops maybe it's time to take stock of whether this is really the direction you want to go. It's time to take a look around and get a clearer vision of what you want and how to get it. Take a broader perspective this year. Travel if you can, if you can’t, get a new book of poetry from a foreign land, read an adventure novel that takes place in space, take time to get to see how the other half lives-you just may find clues to the way you want to live your own life. Start a mindfulness practice, get your chakras unblocked, get a massage, buy a vibrator... try some stuff and see what sticks.
As the year progresses you'll want to start identifying patterns of seeking instant gratification. Brief romantic flings, the number of likes you get on your selfie, and a quick text back from a warm lead might feel great but is it getting your needs met? What deeper needs are you brushing past when you don’t allow yourself to be deeply fulfilled? Passions are something that has to be developed, and sometimes to follow our passions we have to go through a learning process of trying, failing, negotiating, studying, and trying again.
This is also a big year for creativity so get creative and even better yet, collaborate on a creative project with someone you love or with someone you want to get to know better. This year your partnerships will receive a boost of energy, and you’ll be feeling confident. Get real and honest with your partners about what it is you want and expect out of your relationships. If something isn’t working in your committed relationships, don’t worry, you’ve got an opportunity to build something new together. Be careful not to generalize when talking about people, treat them as individuals. Take a patient attitude in arguments and be ready for diplomacy.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
As the healer of the zodiac you’ve had a busy year Virgo, but have you put that healing energy towards yourself?
This year you’ll want to be extra tender with yourself and your partnerships as you continue your focus on building good health, consistent work, routines, healthy habits, and deepening your partnerships. Ignoring your own needs, even when it seems like someone else’s needs might matter more, can be traumatic, be sure to take time for yourself, going on walks, meditating, or trying out a new therapist can all be good first steps. Be proud of how useful you have been to others but be sure to get your own needs met as well or you’ll be prone to burnout.
Aquarian values innovation and you've got big ideas on how to fix things, so you'll feel extra supported and emboldened to create the change you want to see this year. Just try not to get too caught up in having to do it all at once. Show up every day, make a consistent effort to improve, and your efforts will not go unnoticed. This year you’re taking a back to basics approach to get organized with your health and habits. Strong foundations make for quality work.
This is also a great time for learning and education, adventure, and travel. You’ll be expanding your mind and getting deeply invested in innovation. Dedicate yourself to learning something that actually stimulates and excites you- something that makes you feel like you’re on the cutting edge... and be open to surprises.
What’s changing for you this year: Your home life is going to see some transformation this year dear Virgo, it’s up to you to decide what that looks like. Family matters will take up a lot of space in your head this year, but working things out will put you on good stable ground for 2022. There is the possibility of true soul connections in your romantic and platonic connections this year. Whether you’re relearning how to relate to one another, building a relationship with your children, or changing how you like to spend your free time. Remember you are the architect of your life but don’t get so caught up in analyzing outcomes that you never act.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Ah yes, sweet Libra are you bored of flirting over video chat yet? This past year has put a dent in your social calendar and reminded you just how different being in the same room with someone and experiencing their body language is from being on the phone and just how much you miss seeing people's mouths smile. But it’s also forced you to get creative and relate in more authentic ways than perhaps you have in a long time. Which is good, because struggles with friends and family is going to continue as a theme in your life in 2021. But alongside that theme is another narrative as well: one of finding creative ways to express yourself romantically, emotionally, and at work that will transform your life.
Long-term healthy relationships are on the table this year so be on the lookout for ways to grow in that direction. You’re going to discover new forms of entertainment, recreation, and ways of having fun this year. Learning to express yourself without apology, just showing up as you are, and who you are. The coming year will offer you great opportunities to take risks, innovate and revolutionize your relationships, intimacies, and grow your resources.
This is a time to be looking at what’s new as opposed to what’s old. Invest your energy in creative and technological endeavors, especially where the two overlap. Your inner artist is craving collaboration and connection this year. Be wary of overconfidence on the part of others who might squander your resources. But you also enjoy getting to be your own boss in creative matters so make space to try both. Be aware that this year is expected to be even more unpredictable than those you’ve experienced in the past, so be prepared for fluctuations in your cash flow and settle your debts before they get out of hand. Towards the second half of the year, you'll have a clearer picture of your financial situation.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
2020 may have dragged your heart across the coals, it may have even brought out some of the worst in you at times, but that’s okay sweet one, because a new year is here and you’re ready to approach it with a cool head and a heart full of love (for a select few). Scorpio is the sign of “I desire”, ya’ll tend to have a clear sense of what you want, which intimidates some people. The theme of your life this year is to cultivate new ways of thinking and learn how to communicate your desires to others in a way that is creative as opposed to destructive. Step back from toxic relationships, and put your energy into new projects that stimulate you mentally. This year is a great time for you to be growing your self-expression and creative projects. Ask: How can you use your self-expression to release shame and self-doubt? How can you use it to assert yourself at work? The unpredictable Aquarian energy of this year may have you feeling a bit more protective of your home life than usual. Your home life will likely go through some trials and tribulations this year and you may feel prone to be slightly more private about it than usual, but play your cards right and by the end of the year you’ll be standing on a much stronger foundation in 2022. Start by examining what’s making you feel unsafe and what you can do to create a greater sense of safety and security in your life. Cultivate security at home by getting back to basics, slimming down your contacts lists, improving your relationships with your family, your romantic partners, and building a better financial sense of security.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Last year rained on your birthday and your life, but this year you’re going to find your purpose again. This is a year of personal evolution for you. You may struggle with a sense of worth this year as your values shift and change-focus not on where you’ve been, but on where you want to go. Work, health, and the building of new habits and routines will be a source of excitement and innovation for you in 2021 as well as a way for you to separate yourself from the pack. New opportunities are blossoming for you be curious about where they lead. The way you communicate is changing, you want to be more than heard, you want to be listened to and you’re learning this year how to get creative to make that happen. Your attitude and outlook on life are changing and improving, you’re ready to take on big projects and diversify. Your personal interests may also be shifting, opening you up to new learning opportunities.
You may find yourself traveling less and making more impact locally this year. Your family and home life may take on increased importance this year as you learn to more fully communicate your needs within those relationships and enjoy their company a little more. Now is a good time to learn new ways of compromising that leave you feeling courageous, not wounded. You may feel ready to take on a more active leadership role in the home realm. Consider setting up a home business or homeschooling situation. You may have to do some purging of old styles of dealing with your material possessions, as well as old partnerships that leave you feeling insecure.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Hardworking Capricorn, you might start this year feeling a bit in your own head. You’re in a cycle where thoughts about who you want to be as a person, and your identity are sitting at the forefront of your mind, remember your worth isn’t actually attached to how much you achieve. Your worth exists outside of how useful you can be. Don’t over worry any of those thoughts...You’re in a period of long-term reinvention so take your time. It’s going to be a boom year for you Capricorn. Opportunities for self-improvement and pushing towards your goals are everywhere this year. Your mind is sharp and ready to learn, innovate, and be creative.
This year puts a focus on your finances, income, natural talents, self-worth, learning and your personal interests. Lean into what your body tells you is a “yes” and listen carefully if your body is telling you something is a “no”. Learning to live in the flow of our bodies can help us find our true life path.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
You’re coming into your power this year Aquarius. Over the past year, you’ve begun to identify what has deeply influenced your personality, body image, self-confidence, and initiative. In 2021 you’ll be exploring your needs and pursuing your dreams as you begin to see new possibilities and ways of moving through the world. You are taking some “me time” and improving on your education this year. Making leaps and bounds in personal development as you learn to pilot your own airship with a steady hand, taking as many twists and turns as you like, but always moving in a forward direction. Adding structure and simplicity to your life will improve your self-discipline and career outlook.
This is not a time for sitting around, this is your season, this is your age, this is your opportunity to live free. Take a broad perspective and small challenges will seem inconsequential. Just stepping stones to the next jumping point. You can reinvent yourself, your mannerisms, your body, your personality, to be true reflections of you and how you want to walk through the world.
This year your home and family life may be a bit unpredictable, but there are exciting opportunities here as well. Make your home space welcoming, rearrange your routine to ensure success. This year you are severing old ties to past ways of living and being that haven’t brought you joy.
Attitudes towards spirituality will continue to transform this year as you confront deeply buried aspects of your psyche, and learn to embrace the hidden side of your nature. The way you perceive yourself is set to grow, expand, and improve this year. Remember you are not your thoughts or your feelings, you are, however, experiencing your thoughts and feelings. What you keep and what you acknowledge and let go of is up to you.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
This year you’ll continue learning how to navigate the world without compromising your compassion or kindness. Luckily this year you’re surrounded by people who are coming into your life to help restore your faith in humanity. Be wary though as you network- some friendships may be built on shaky ground, or may have foundations that have cracked. Be on the lookout for compassionate ways to let go of anyone who seems to like to hurt your feelings just to see if they can get a rise out of you. Advocate for yourself, as someone who tends to bring a lot of reflective energy to the table-reflecting others thoughts, emotions, and energy back at them- it’s important to set boundaries to maintain your own emotional health, and give yourself time to rest. This year your inner strength is shining through, matters of the past may feel magnified this year, let go of old behaviors and attitudes that keep you from growing. You may feel a bet held back in some areas this year, but the stars suggest looking to your private healing, avoiding escapism, and doing a ‘spring cleaning’ of your psyche. Marie Kondo your thoughts and feelings to reconnect with what you truly value. You may be tempted to give too much of yourself this year- pay attention to what feels like giving and receiving and what feels like giving that compromises your own sense of self-worth. Abandon the stories that you tell yourself about your life path or public life for the truth of what feels good in the moment. Accept that you do not need to define yourself by any singular narrative. Your inner world is expanding. Your body image is transforming. Your physical health remains an area of growth this year.
