Kiteboarder makes Eerie Discovery near Lyle
A kiteboarder made an eerie discovery near Lyle on The Columbia River on Thursday, May 6. This capsized boat was found being crushed by big waves and high winds and tangled in some Native American buoys and netting. It is unclear what happened to cause the boat to come to this state or if anyone was injured. The Klickitat County Sheriff’s Log states that the boat was reported capsized at 4:40 p.m. Kiteboarder Robbie Denning came across it about 8 p.m. the same day and searched the area for people, finding none.
