The Dalles Beautification & Tree Committee has awarded April’s Beautification Award to Gary and Beckie Bloomdahl of 720 E. 12th Street.

On Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 6:51 a.m., Oregon State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Hwy-26, near milepost 93, in Wasco County.

Readers were flipping their lids this week as they drank down our questions like a delicious root beer float complete with a frothy combination of creamy carbonated pop. Thirty-five people sent in correct answers and were entered into a raffle. And our randomly selected winner is none other than Mary Collins!

Kite Boarders made an eerie discovery near Lyle on The Columbia River on Thursday, May 6. This boat was found being crushed by big waves and high winds and tangled in some Native American buoys and netting.
