Eggs Unbound: The Hunt is on Saturday; Find your Easter event here

The Dalles, Ore., April 3, 2026 — Families across the Columbia Gorge will celebrate Easter weekend with egg hunts, community events and visits with the Easter Bunny in The Dalles, Hood River and White Salmon.

The Dalles

In The Dalles, the annual Easter Egg Scramble is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Lewis & Clark Festival Park, drawing families each year for a large community hunt. Additional church and neighborhood egg hunts are planned throughout the day across the city.

Hood River

Hood River is hosting several events Saturday, including a community Easter egg hunt and safety fair at 11 a.m. at Jackson Park. A courthouse egg hunt is scheduled for 10 a.m., while other activities throughout the day include an Easter-themed train experience on the Mount Hood Railroad and family events at area businesses and orchards.

Packer Orchards is also hosting its “Ultimate Easter Experience” across the weekend with egg hunts, farm activities and family attractions.

White Salmon

The White Salmon Lions Club will host its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rheingarten Park, located at 250 N. Main St. Organizers encourage families to arrive early, noting the event begins promptly. Children will also have an opportunity to take photos with the Easter Bunny.

Most egg hunts across the region are scheduled for Saturday morning or midday, with organizers encouraging participants to bring baskets and arrive early as events often begin on time.

Goldendale

The American Legion is hosting an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 4, starting at 11 a.m. at the Klickitat County Fairgrounds, 903 N Fairgrounds Road in Goldendale. Families are invited to come out for the event and join in the holiday fun.
