Empire of the Fun; Carnival getting ready to kick into overdrive
The Dalles, Ore., April 23, 2026 — Crews at Rainier Amusement have been kicking in the fun drive as they set up the Cherry Fest Carnival at Lewis & Clark Festival Park near the Union Street underpass in The Dalles.
It is amazing how many rides, games they have packed into the beautiful space decked with gorgeous trees and green grass.
This year’s carnival will feature a vibrant midway filled with rides, games, and classic festival attractions for all ages.
Presale Offer – Save $10
Purchase carnival wristbands for $35 each before the 44th Northwest Cherry Festival and save $10 per band. Wristbands will be $45 when purchased at the event site after 12 p.m. Friday, April 24.
Purchase tickets online here or at The Dalles Chamber’s office.
After purchase, wristbands can be picked up at the The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce, 404 W. Second St., in The Dalles before noon April 24.
If not picked up in advance, wristbands will be available at the Chamber booth near the Grand Entrance on Saturday Only. Please bring a valid ID for pickup.
All tickets must be exchanged for a wristband at the carnival ticket booth during the event.

Children must be at least 2 years old to ride. No refunds or exchanges will be issued.
Carnival Hours
Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
