Fandango with a Durango: Wheels of Hope needs nominations for deserving family
This 2005 Dodge Durango parked at the Wasco County Fair today, Aug. 15, will go to a deserving family this October through Wheels of Hope. Bicoastal Media is asking for your help to nominate local families who would benefit greatly from reliable transportation.
The Dalles, Ore., Aug. 15, 2024 — They’re back at it again.
The radio stations of Bicoastal Media, along with CH Urness Motors are looking for a family in need and they could use some help getting around.
They are currently asking for nominations for a deserving family that could use some Wheels of Hope.
It is the 9th year for the program that gives a car to a local family that is struggling with transportation needs.
“We’re trying to get the best possible nomination that we can,” said Tiffany Ford with Bicoastal Media. “It’s going to make their life a whole lot easier.”
This year, Wheels of Hope will provide a struggling family lacking transportation options with a 2005 Dodge Durango to help them meet their daily travel needs.
Nominations of deserving families can be made at GorgeRadio.com and on-site at special Wheels of Hope vehicle stops from now through mid-October. The deadline for nominations is Oct. 11 before 5 pm.
A panel of judges, including representatives from Bicoastal Media, sponsors, and human service agencies, will select the family to receive the vehicle. The award will be presented in late October.
