Fire Relief Directory: Find What Families Need and How to Donate Here
The Dalles Elks Trustee Deryl Leonard and Elks Secretary Amy Augustus were hard at it at the former site of the Elks Lodge in The Dalles this afternoon. The Dalles Elks have set up a donation center at 2620 W. Second St., next to the former site of Red’s Trading Post. The service organization is accepting donations and inviting people in need to take what they require. The center is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Dalles, Ore., June 17, 2025 — As fire victims pick up the pieces after hundreds were impacted by the Rowena Fire that destroyed 56 homes and another 77 that were inundated with smoke and damaged otherwise, CCCNews has attempted here to put together the list of places both to find clothing, household items, food and other items as well as places to donate.
Amy Augustus said the donations have been fast and furious and their shelves are bursting with items ranging from food to formula, new shoes to bedspreads. She and Deryl even gave away the kitchen microwave to a family that needed it.
This is by no means an inclusive list as we have gathered it from Facebook Posts throughout the many groups where we distribute our news.
If you have some additions, please tell us what you’re doing, where people can go, including address and hours of operation to news@cccnews.com and we will update our list with your information.
