Columbia Center for Arts Pastel Show

 Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River presents the Northwest Pastel Society Members Show 2025, featuring more than 100 works by 66 artists. This juried exhibition, celebrating the vibrancy and versatility of pastel as a medium will be on display at CCA September 5–28, gallery is open Noon-5 p.m. The exhibition was juried and judged by Gail Sibley, a Master Pastelist with both the Pastel Artists of Canada and the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS).

Celebrating Culture – Honoring Tradition – Showcasing Talent

The Dalles Art Center (open Wed-Sat) is proud to present its inaugural Hispanic Heritage Exhibit, a five-week celebration of Latino/a/e/x culture expressed through visual art, storytelling, movement, and tradition. Co-curated by local photographer and Community Arts Committee member Paloma Ayala, this immersive exhibit highlights the depth and diversity of Hispanic identity in the Columbia River Gorge and beyond.

301 Art Gallery in Hood River presents “INSPIRED II 2025” Sharing joy for the natural world. A fantastic collaboration art show with Friends of the Gorge, featuring over 50 artists and more than 500 works. Gallery is open every day 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Timewinder Tales

The History Museum of Hood River County is proud to present Timewinder Tales (formerly Cemetery Tales), Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. This year’s performances are a bit different than those in the past, and we could not be more excited to present this new version of the show! You will hear from four powerful and influential Latina members of our community who will share their stories and inspirations. Paty Verduzco, Martha Verduzco-Ortega and Monica Romero, along with Tina Castañares, will share their histories, inform and entertain. The performances will be in Spanish, with English interpretation.

The Ruins in Hood River presents Hillstomp - Final Hood River Show! with Jackrat. Hillstomp is retiring and this will be their final Hood River show ever! Doors at 5:30 p.m. Children allowed.

Merle Law

The Balch Hotel in Dufur hosts live music with MERLE LAW, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Merle Law is a Portland-based singer-songwriter and exceptional vocalist with deep roots in New Orleans and the Northeast. Merle draws on a wide range of songwriting traditions. Her next full-length album is set to release in 2025.

Alela Diane

Live Music at Trout Lake Hall

The Trout Lake Hall in Trout Lake, Washington presents Songwriters Round the Mountain featuring Alela Diane, with an opening round with Ezza Rose, Julie Mayfield and Savannah Clancy. SONGWRITERS ROUND THE MOUNTAIN is a listening room series highlighting song craft by featuring some of the best regional and national songwriters working today. These evening consist of a headlining songwriter with an opening songwriter round for support.
