Embodying the vibrant Chicago music culture, LowDown Brass Band is a one-of-a-kind horn ensemble weaving the rhythm of the streets with conscious hip hop, reggae, and soul. Rigorously touring, LowDown has performed on the most unique stages, from the Montreal Jazz Fest to the Cotai Jazz Fest. Despite the last four years, LowDown has stayed busy, releasing Three albums, "The Reel Sessions, LowDown Nights and $itizens of the World”, which showcase their unique sound and further push the boundaries of their genre. From its garage-rock roots in 2006 as a one-off show, to full album productions and performing for thousands of fans each year, Portland, Oregon-based Pigs on the Wing have built a loyal following dedicated to the band’s high-energy take on Pink Floyd’s music. All members of Pigs on the Wing are seasoned veterans of the Pacific NW rock scene and are unapologetic in bringing their wide-ranging musical influences to the table. The Countryside Ride Band was described in 2016 by The Portland Mercury as “spot-on, honky-tonk preservationists capable of teaching a master class.” Founded in 2005 by childhood friends Bret Ervin (guitar and vocals), Joshua Kunze (lead guitar), and Jessica Renee (bass and vocals), Countryside Ride originally performed as a three-piece before inviting some of the best country & western players in the Pacific Northwest to join them. Countryside Ride is now performing primarily as a five-piece honkytonk band. For over two decades, Countryside Ride has been writing and performing original music and traditional honkytonk standards in venues throughout the region. The current line-up includes the tremendous J.D. Cunningham on pedal-steel guitar, and the legendary Kevin “Shuffle King” Major on drums.
