Hood River Latino Network Hosts Grand Opening for Immigrant Help Center

Hood River, Ore., June 6, 2024 – The Hood River Latino Network (HRLN) is set to celebrate the grand opening of the new Immigrant Help Center on Saturday, June 15th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1406 12th St. Suite 102 in Hood River.

”Over the last 7 years we have worked hard together through powerful activism, beautiful cultural festivals, sharing of resources and building strong community connections within the Gorge and throughout the Pacific Northwest. This year, with the support of the wonderful Rural Organizing Project (ROP), we are excited to announce the grand opening of our new Hood River Latino Network Immigrant Help Center!!” read an announcement from HRLN.

The new center aims to serve as a comprehensive resource for Latino and immigrant populations in the Columbia River Gorge and throughout the Pacific Northwest.

”The HRLN Immigrant Help Center is a dynamic hub for our immigrant and Latino community members throughout the Gorge to connect to local resources, receive assistance with navigating systems, participate in classes and trainings, register to vote, learn about local happenings, find support and much more!” said Hood River Latino Netowrk

The grand opening event will feature free food, games, face painting, music, and prizes!

The event is designed to be not only be a celebration but also as an opportunity for community members to learn about the resources available at the center. The event is free to the public. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP.
