Ready to ski? Two ski swaps this weekend in HR

With the National Weather Service calling for 9 more straight days of snow on Mount Hood, skiers are already itching for that first run. 

But before you go, get your equipment in order. 

There are two ski swaps this weekend according to our miners on Facebook and the Web.  Both are in Hood River.

The Hoodriver Ski Swap is set for Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Alliance Church, 2650 Montello Avenue in Hood River.

Early Admission is  8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. at a cost of $25 per person. 

Those willing to wait can enter at 9 a.m. for $5 per person.

The swap is set to go until 2 p.m. 

The consignment Check-in for equipment is today, Friday, Nov. 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Swap is a fundraiser for the Hood River Valley High School Ski/Snowboard teams.

Working Hands Brewery is also hosting the Mt. Hood Nordic Ski Swap on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the brewery, 1021 12th St., Hood River.
