Sidewalk Ramp work on Tap for March in TD

Back in April 2021, passersby Maria Sandoval and her daughter Eimy were excited to see that sidewalks would be receiving ADA ramps on Union. Well, more ramps are coming this March.

From Van Nevel Concrete & Curb:

Van Nevel Concrete & Curb, Inc. will be installing ADA ramps in various area's throughout the City of The Dalles from March 1st to June 1st, Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m. 

No Lane closures are expected. Please use caution in the work zones for the safety of everyone as we work to improve ADA accessibility. 

The following areas will be affected in work that will occur March 1st thru April 1st are: 

1. Brentwood Drive from Columbia View Dr. to Royal Crest Dr. 

2. East 11th St. at Oregon Ave & Dry Hollow Rd. 

3. East 13th Pl. at View Court & Dry Hollow Rd. 

4. East 16th Pl. at East 18th St.
