Snowy with the chance of running into Steve Palmer

The Dalles, Ore., Dec. 13, 2024 — Steve Palmer was firing up his air compressor outside The Dalles Auto Parts on Third Street this afternoon during a heavy wet downfall of snow.

Steve of Steve’s Towing said he still had some irrigation pipes to blow out with the compressor and he also said he was retired from the towing business, noting he missed his due date by eight years.

I bet he does not miss the calls on icy cold nights like were about to have.

The National Weather Service is forcasting Rain, possibly mixed with snow and freezing rain before 1 a.m., then a slight chance of rain, snow, and freezing rain after 4 a.m. Low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
