Richard Michael Robinson pleaded not guilty Thursday to a second-degree murder charge in Klickitat County Superior Court, where a judge appointed a public defender as the case moves forward.

Firefighters are being pulled in multiple directions as multiple fires have broken out in Oregon, including the uncontained 60-acre Boulder Fire just 13 air miles west of Wamic in tall timber in the Mt. Hood National Forest.

Insurance companies are still sorting out the cause of the fire at The Dalles Marina that destroyed eight houseboats and sank four vessels. No cause has been determined as yet, making it impossible to know who is liable for the damage. Salvage of the boathouse and floating of sunken boats is expected after a determination of the cause or the lack thereof is final.
