HR man fatally crashes into rock wall on Hwy. 35 near Cooper Spur for unknown reasons
A Hood River man was killed when his Subaru Forester left the road and hit a rock wall on Highway 35 in the Mount Hood National Forest near Cooper Spur Road on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 5:23 p.m., according to Oregon State Police.
Helicopter rescue on Mt. Hood retrieves seriously injured hiker
Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies launched a search-and-rescue mission after a climber fell several hundred feet near the Old Chute area of Mt. Hood. The climber was transported off the mountain with serious injuries to an area hospital.
