The Dalles Public Works to Close a Block on Court St. for 24 hrs. Between Oct. 2-5th
On Monday, October 2, 2023, the City of The Dalles Public Works will begin full pavement reconstruction following the installation of a sanitary sewer main on Court St. between E. 12th St. and E. 13th St., weather permitting. The purpose of this work is to restore the pavement surface. Construction is expected to occur over four days with expected completion by Thursday, October 5, 2023.

The City of The Dalles Public Works Department will be flushing fire hydrants in the Downtown Area the week of September 5 – 8, 2023. Fire hydrants are flushed in order to Clean out deposits, sediments and rust from our distribution pipelines.

First Phase of The Dalles Storm Water Catch Basin Project Begins Today March 20
The City of The Dalles Public Works Department has announced that it will begin the first phase of a storm water catch basin project on E. 4th Street and Union Street on March 20, 2023. The project's first construction area will be on E. 4th Street between Union and Court Streets, and the work is expected to be completed on March 22, 2023.
