On March 13, 2024, the City of The Dalles and Wasco County will host a free Disaster Movie Marathon at Columbia Cinema, located at 2727 W 7th St. in The Dalles. Members of the public are invited to watch a variety of disaster-themed movies, enjoy free snacks, prizes and take part in a community survey on disaster prepardeness.

The History Museum of Hood River County is thrilled to invite the community once again to its free annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 4, 1-3pm.

On October 12th, 2020 a free online screening of GATHER, a powerful documentary about the reclamation of Native Food Sovereignty is being hosted by Kenji Stasiewicz and Sullivan Mackintoch in honor of Indigenous People’s Day.
