Biggs Junction, OR, August 26, 2023– The Sherman County Sheriff’s Office Facebook Page posted photos of two semi trucks which crashed into the Columbia River near I-84 milepost 104 (Biggs Grain Elevator) just hours apart on August 25th, 2023.
First Round of Seed to Supper in Sherman County a Success

MCCAC to Conduct Houselessness Survey Next Week
Mid-Columbia Community Action Council will conduct an annual Point-in-Time (PIT) survey to to count the number of people experiencing houselessness in Wasco, Hood River, and Sherman Counties next week. The survey will also provide valuable information to MCCAC about contributing factors to houselessness and the length of time individuals in our region have been houseless.
