In response to the growing needs faced by local families, the The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with The Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul, has launched a community-wide collection drive to provide food, clothing, and toys for families in need this holiday season.

The Dalles City Council will vote Monday, June 2, on whether to authorize a $465,000 tourism promotion contract with The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce, following the submission of five bids for the job.

American Queen Voyages has declared bankruptcy and canceled 20 plus stops in the City of The Dalles in the upcoming season. The cancellation could mean a $110,000+ loss in tourism dollars for The Dalles but locals are working to find solutions.

The Dalles Area Chamber, in collaboration with Google, is excited to present a FREE training session for Nonprofit Board and Leadership on October 19, 2023, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The annual Northwest Cherry Festival is set to take place in The Dalles, Oregon, from Friday, April 21st through Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 This year's festival, is themed "Homegrown Happiness."
