TD Council agenda jammed tonight, April 11th; Millions in investments to be considered

The Dalles City Councilors have a full plate tonight, April 11th, with an agenda that includes reports on or consideration of the following:

  • The Dalles Area Chamber’s marketing plan and proposed budget of $426,000 

  • A $145,000 salary and contract for future City Manager Matthew Klebes

  • A request for $458,000 for lining sewer pipes 

  • Approval for distributing $400,000 in federal COVID relief funds to Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation for Sorosis Irrigation construction and tree planting.

  • Approval for distributing $500,000 in federal COVID relief funds to Mid Columbia Community Action Council for the construction of a Navigation Center.
