The Dalles Skate Park Taking Shape

The Dalles OR. Aug 14, 2023- Early this morning, concrete workers arrived in good spirits at The Dalles Skate Park to begin filling the skate bowl for the construction project that has been going on for the past few months. Workers will be there for the next few days as the concrete portion of the project is underway which will add skate features and a pump track. The crew is confident that Construction will finish quickly

This Concrete workers used a blaster to shoot the shotcrete into the forms for the new skate bowl.

Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation Executive Director Scott Baker said that once the bowl is finished, it will mark the halfway point until the Skate Park construction is complete. However, there will be some challenges as the heat wave approaches us, which may slow down the crew.
