Monday, March 23

Walk to Shannon’s Ice Cream & City Park, 1:30–3 p.m. The Dalles Public Library. Free. Open to teens. Registration required. Group walks to Shannon’s Ice Cream with a stop at City Park. Permission slip required; contact afeil@thedalles.gov.

4-Chord Fun: Ukulele for Newbies, 6–7 p.m. The Dalles Public Library meeting room. Open to teens and adults. Registration required. Seven-week beginner course covering basics, chord charts and simple songs. Ukuleles available to borrow.

Tuesday, March 24
Little Learners Lab: Animal Investigations, 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m. The Dalles Public Library children’s wing. Free. Open to preschoolers with accompanying adults. Hands-on STEAM activities focused on creativity and discovery.

RC Car Library Obstacle Course, 1:30–2:30 p.m. The Dalles Public Library. Free. Open to teens (ages 10+ for this event). Navigate RC cars through an obstacle course with help from teammates.

Wednesday, March 25
Nintendo Switch Gaming, 1:30–2:30 p.m. The Dalles Public Library teen room. Free. Open to teens. Play Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. and more.

Minecraft Club, 3–5 p.m. The Dalles Public Library teen room. Free. Open to ages 11–17. Registration required. Play on the library server and complete group challenges. Snacks provided.

Thursday, March 26
Baked Potato Toppings Bar, 1:30–2:30 p.m. The Dalles Public Library teen room. Free. Open to teens. Build-your-own baked potato with a variety of toppings.

Latin-Inspired Dance Lessons, 4–5 p.m. The Dalles Public Library meeting room. Free. Open to adults. Beginner-friendly swing and Latin dance instruction. No experience required.

Family Lego Pizza Night, 5:30–7 p.m. The Dalles Public Library meeting room. Free. Open to all ages. Monthly Lego-building event with pizza provided.

Much Ado About Nothing: Reader’s Theater Rehearsal, 4–6 p.m. The Dalles Public Library makerspace. Free. Open to teens and adults (ages 13+). Open rehearsal for upcoming performance. No experience required.

Saturday, March 28
Rock Collection: Take & Make Kit, all day. The Dalles Public Library. Free. Open to school-age children, teens, and adults. Pick up a rock sample with a fact sheet while supplies last.

Intermediate Guitar Lessons with Aaron Israel, 1–2 p.m. The Dalles Public Library teen room. Open to teens and adults. Registration required. Intermediate-level six-week course focusing on technique and advanced skills.
