Traffic Update: SR 141 Closure
From the City of White Salmon:
White Salmon, Wash., May 22, 2026 — Travel Alert Update: State Route 141 is still closed between Alt SR 141 and Bald Mountain Corners, but it re-opens at noon this Friday, May 22, and will stay open through the long holiday weekend.
Expect a full, 24-hour closure to resume Tuesday–Friday, May 26–29, while crews finish final paving for the Transmission Main Replacement Phase IIA project.
Closure Details:
Closure Limits: From the intersection of Alt SR 141 and SR 141 to the top of Bald Mountain (Bald Mountain Corners), approximately milepost 4.69 to 3.82.
Emergency vehicles and school buses will be allowed through the work zone to maintain critical services and access.
Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution in the area.
