Victim identified in TD shooting; police asking for assistance
Police have identified Michael A. Boyer, 41, a former resident of The Dalles as the man shot and killed in west The Dalles around 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 22.

The Dalles, Ore., June 24, 2024 — The victim of Saturday night’s shooting and homicide is Michael A. Boyer 41 years old, and a former resident of The Dalles residing in southwest Washington. This photograph was provided by his family and we ask for respectful interactions only, please.
Noe Zaragoza was arrested in Camas, Wash. on Saturday, June 22, in connection with the shooting, according to a Facebook post by The City of The Dalles Police Department.
Zaragoza was scheduled to be arraigned in Clark County today, June 24, at 1:30 p.m.
“Mr. Zaragoza's apprehension was a coordinated effort that showcased exemplary interagency cooperation and dedication,” according to a Facebook post by The Dalles Police Department.

This investigation is still active and any information can help bring justice for Michael. We are aware of several direct witnesses who left prior to police arriving and we wish to speak to all of them
