Get Ready Rumba! Dancing with Gorge Stars is on Friday, Jan. 14
Dancing with the Gorge Stars returns to The Dalles High School Auditorium this Friday, Jan. 14. Locals Tria Bullard, Todd Carpenter, Aaron Carter, Annette Byers, Erika Wilson and Dennis Morgan will cut a rug with their professional dance partners in a quest for the coveted mirrored ball trophy. Last Call: Northwest Mural Fest Voting Period Ends January 11th
The Northwest Mural Fest has extended the public input and voting period on mural themes until January 11th, 2022. The community is encouraged to share their input by voting for the themes they would like to see go up on the walls around The Dalles during the 2022 Mural Fest.
TD Scrapbook reveals perseverance in three-day snow deluge
So instead of sitting around and watching the icicles grow longer, I took this opportunity to get out in The Dalles and meet some of the folks working and playing in the snow. I met business owners, bus drivers, mailmen, and others on this fantastic voyage. Some you may even recognize.

Local artist sought in creation of sculpture and new TD pocket park
LIttle Art City Strikes again. The Dalles Art Center seeking local artist submissions to us for a three-dimensional sculpture created through the medium of blacksmithing. It will be installed at an upcoming “pocket park” at the corner of 2nd and Washington streets in the spring of 2022.
Lighting up the season: Christmas Spirit is Electric in TD

A real coolness pervaded the auditorium at The Dalles High School tonight, Nov. 10. Just 24 hours before curtain call, a cast of characters sat before Director Lowry Browning. It will be the first time in years that these students will go before a live audience, and they are pumped.
