MCMC and OHSU formally ended several aspects of their collaborative agreement that will affect primary care, general surgery, orthopedics, endocrinology in weeks and months to come. It is the latest news about the local hospital that cut ties with OHSU Cardiology in August and has seen 14 clinicians leave the Medical Center in the past year.
“The pavilion will be a cozy gathering place in the cooler months and provide shade in the summer,” said Tabatha Wiggins. “We are grateful for the HartBeat of Main Street Grant that allowed us to initiate this project. A gofundme site for a Columbia Gorge Community Market and Food Hub in the former Hood River News Building at 419 State Street was posted on Tuesday, Nov. 9. Realtor Brian Lauterbach who represents the owners of the building, The Denny Smith Family, said negotiations to lease the building are underway.
