Hood River Farmers Market opens for the season on Saturday, May 4th from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm in the 5th & Columbia parking lot across from Full Sail Brewing. Market shoppers can enjoy free parking beside the market on the west side of the parking lot, anywhere west of 7th Street or on Wasco Street.

The Dalles Announces Pavement Preservation Project: West 2nd Street Lane Closure
West 2nd Street between Terminal Ave. and Cherry Heights Road – The westbound lane will be closed for repairs on a section of the roadway. Westbound motorists on Interstate 84, using exit 84, will be flagged to a single lane next to the construction zone. Expect delays.

Adventist Health eliminates Dennis Knox's position at TD Hospital
The news came from a letter from President Dennis Knox on April 18 addressed to his Adventist Health Columbia Gorge (AHCG) Colleagues. “Furthermore, as of next Thursday, April 25, the position of President of AHCG will be eliminated, and I, accordingly, will no longer be at AHCG,” Knox wrote in the letter.
