Fritz and Vera brought their owner to the Riverfront Trail in The Dalles this morning, Thursday, Jan. 14 to enjoy some sniffing and tranquility as the Columbia River went undisturbed by even the slightest breeze. D21 Superintendent Search - Meet The Candidates

North Wasco County School District 21 has narrowed its search for a permanent superintendent to just three candidates. And one of them is expected to be hired on Friday, Jan. 22. Keeping Stride

Annabelle Lavier of The Dalles made her mile walk at Thompson Track this morning, Monday, Jan. 11. The 73-year-old has been coming to the track and field for decades. She remembers taking her son, Jack, at 6 months old and her daughter, Kris, when she was three years old to play at the field. They are now in their 40s.
