CD Review: White Salmon's Richard & Tova Tillinghast provide 'Random Perfect Plan'
A new CD of music from Gorge musicians Richard & Tova Tillinghast emerges from the tumultuous year of 2020. The overall vibe of “Random Perfect Plan” is strictly acoustic and most tunes harken back to the earthy, roots-folk style found on previous albums like 2008’s “Sweet by and By” and “The Door is Open,” from 2014.

Fritz and Vera brought their owner to the Riverfront Trail in The Dalles this morning, Thursday, Jan. 14 to enjoy some sniffing and tranquility as the Columbia River went undisturbed by even the slightest breeze. Hood River, White Salmon Lose Natural Gas Service after wreck
Some 5,000 NW Natural Gas customers in White Salmon and Hood River have lost service, and will not likely see it restored until Tuesday and Wednesday this week, according to company officials.

Forest Service to Conduct Prescribed Burns in the Columbia River Gorge
The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Forest Service (CRGNSA) has announced that it will be conducting several prescribed burns in the Courtney Road and Tracy Hill area between Lyle and Bingen in Klickitat County, Washington.
