Stevenson Picnic Pavilion ignites after fire reportedly escaped fireplace
First arriving units reported smoke coming from the structure and encountered a group of local musicians removing their equipment from the pavilion. Firefighters used forcible entry tools to gain access to the interior of the building where they found fire in the wall
Stevenson Downtown and Famers Market to join forces in 2022
The Stevenson Downtown Association announced the plans to absorb the Stevenson Farmers Market beginning in 2022. Each organization’s volunteer Board of Directors voted unanimously in favor of the move.
Walking Man Brewing Completes Pavilion Construction in Stevenson
“The pavilion will be a cozy gathering place in the cooler months and provide shade in the summer,” said Tabatha Wiggins. “We are grateful for the HartBeat of Main Street Grant that allowed us to initiate this project. It wouldn’t have been possible without community support, namely Tom Sikora, Benny Kelso and McCaskill Construction -- these guys made it happen!”
