Vote in favor of CGCC Measure 33-1111

We've been fortunate to bring in high quality equipment, and make it accessible to local startups, innovators, hobbyists, businesses and of course our students. Through economic development partnerships with the National Institute of Standards and Technology and Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the AM&F program has kept $382,000 in our region.

Vote David Stuebe for Washington State House, Dist. 17, Pos. 2

As mayor and a moderate conservative, his ability and track record of "working across the aisle” is impressive. In these times of political division, we need a representative who cares about ALL citizens and can secure funding to address OUR district's needs as David has done in Washougal.

Vote for Nick Walden Poublon for State Representative

He is the hardest-working candidate I’ve ever encountered. Nick has visited The Dalles many times. He has personally telephoned me several times and knocked on our door at least twice. Recent polling showed him just 3 points behind the incumbent.

Please join me in voting for Nick Walden Poublon

He's not a "politician," he is someone who has dedicated his career to community service. I have met him and listened to him speak several times when he has come to The Dalles. While he lives in a rural community closer to the metro area, the fact that he has been spending so much time on the east side of our district shows me he is committed to serving us.

HR Mayor endorses Community College Bond

I remember the day when we cut the ribbon on the new building in HR and joined the college district. Since then, countless kids (and adults) have benefitted from this local educational resource. As the buildings age, we need to keep them up and modern. I want the next generation to have the same high quality CGCC that we enjoy today.

I'm voting for hope and respect on Nov. 5

I choose hope and respect, not party affiliations. What matters is what works best for the majority of Americans, not the billionaires paying Trump’s campaign costs for the tax cuts only they will get in 2025.

Congratulations to TDHS Football Coach Timmons on first win!

I grew up in the same neighborhood as Nate, throwing the football with our fellow neighborhood kids, and then watched him grow into a talented golfer, swimmer and football player himself. Nate has always shown a great ability to connect with athletes as a coach; something that not everyone (even some coaches) can do.

Bradford Island: 'How can a place so special... be devastated by a group of one?'

How can a place so special and sweet be cared for by so many people, but be devastated by a group of one? I recently learned that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contaminated Bradford Island for years, all while Indigenous and local fishermen used the area to catch fish. They dumped electrical components, hazardous waste, and light bulbs into the land and river.
