The Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association is proud to present the musical sensation “Little Shop of Horrors,” directed by Joe Garoutte, with music direction by Dan Kenealy. Based on a cult sci-fi film from 1960, this “strange and unusual” musical is filled with fun and unforgettable tunes. It opens at the Bingen Theater (210 Oak St.) in Bingen, WA, on April 28.
“I’ve been doing this forever,” Jamie Park said on Wednesday, April 12, noting he and Tammerack Knopf just replaced a transmission on a Scion at his new shop. The 38-year-old opened Parke Auto Repair LLC at 2937 E. Second Street earlier this year, striking out on his own after friend Rod Huante helped him out with some capital.

The market runs from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is the latest addition as the pair is growing a community hub for entertainment, drinks, food, and fun in west TD.
Babita Kainth and Atanu Das are opening their Indian Food Cart called Tadka at the 6th Street Station, 2638 W. Sixth Street on Friday, March 10 for lunch. You best scurry for some curry. “I have the best cook,” said Babita Kainth. Atanu Das is bringing the love in the kitchen. “He cooks that food with a lot of happiness. People like it very well.”
Second Saturday Cleanups is opening up its third season this Saturday, March 11, as Columbia Gorge Toyota & Honda is partnering once again with The Dalles Beautification Committee to clean up The Dalles. In the past 2 years, the program has removed more than 50 yards of garbage from local parks, trails and common areas in The Dalles. Get involved, spend a couple of hours and feel good about your community while making some new friends. Many hands make light work.

Emtech NW automotive and diesel repair has moved to a new location in the Port of The Dalles. The automotive shop, owned and operated by Ray Emig, is now at 3624 Crates Way just west of Fix Auto and next to Crestline Construction.
Nicole Dollarhide of Wasco was given the car through Wheels of Hope, which provides cars to families who are struggling. Multiple local businesses and nonprofits support the program including Schultens and Crestline Construction and Bicoastal Media.
