Matt Hansel at to his shop Wines on Second at 316 E. Second Street said he has AniChe Cellars from Underwood, Washington doing a pour on Friday night. And friend J.D. Kindle, a country singer songwriter from Pendleton will be on stage.

Over 30 businesses will be open late Friday, June 3 as a grassroots movement is fueling some really fun times in downtown The Dalles.

On Friday, businesses will feature their favorite things about summer. From sidewalk chalk art, live music, special treats, to grand openings, it will be an amazing night to kick off the summer.

Hours are 5 to 8 p.m.

Decisions, decisions at Shannon’s Ice Cream, 318 E. Fourth Street. Shannon’s will be open late as well. And if you buy a human ice cream on Friday night, your dog will get a free Swell Gelato made by Debbie Hendrickx in the Port of The Dalles. See below.

Dogs like it. Heck, I liked it. Debbie puts good stuff in that Swell.

Robert Koval shows off the discounts at Frontier Farms, 609 E. Second St., as the cannabis dispensery will also be participating on Friday night with 50% off Frontier Clones.
