Pumped up on Sunshine
The Dalles, Ore., Jan 17, 2025 — Eli Warner, 4, of Lyle was giving it his all on Friday, Jan. 17 at the pump track on West Second Street in the Dalles.
His dad, Chris Warner, 35, who grew up in The Dalles, said the “crazy weather” with azure blue skies brought them out.
Not bad for January.
His son Brodie, 6, was nearby also pumping for speed. Temps were in the high 40s and the Sol’s rays took it up to a feels-like-55.
Well, Chris, Eli and Brodie, get used to it… kinda. The National Weather Service is forecasting sunny, clear days through Sunday, Jan. 19
But it’s going to be brisk, baby.
High’s look to be in the 30s with lows in the 20’s at night. Better get that Vitamin D with the sun on your back to avoid that bone chill.
