Hood River, Ore., March 17, 2025 — Six Rivers Dispute Resolution Center is offering free training for people interested in volunteering in its Circles of Peace restorative justice program.
The training is Tuesday, April 8th, 12:30-4:30 in downtown The Dalles. Ore. Circles of Peace is an alternative to the traditional justice system. The program provides a safe, supportive environment for people impacted by crime to heal.
Through a series of circles, those who caused harm take accountability, make reparations, and learn skills to prevent re-offense.
