Dispute resolution processes can be used to resolve any type of dispute including family, neighborhood, employment, business, housing, personal injury, consumer, and environmental disputes.

Eleven local people completed Six Rivers Dispute Resolution Center’s 40-hour Basic Mediation Training in May of 2024. This training provided students with the philosophy and skills needed to have a working knowledge of the role of an impartial mediator.

Six Rivers Dispute Resolution Center is hosting a free public event regarding restorative justice on Tuesday, September 12 from 5:15-7:00 PM at The Dalles Civic Auditorium, 323 E 4th St, The Dalles. From 6:00-7:00, Six Rivers will present on its upcoming pilot restorative justice program, and on the results of community interviews and a community survey on harm and healing. Refreshments will be served.
