“We do have a tenant about to sign a lease but I am not able to talk about it yet,” said Darren Dickerhoof, Manager of Riviera Enterprises LLC and Dickerhoof Properties based in Corvallis. “It’s a national clothing chain that I think the town will like.”

The City of The Dalles and Saint Vincent de Paul (SVDP) have jointly agreed to the dismissal of the public nuisance lawsuit the City filed against SVDP in the fall of 2023.

“Some identified options include: • restricting the personal use of fireworks within City limits; • prohibiting the commercial use of fireworks within City limits; and • prohibiting the sale of fireworks within City limits.” 

Second Saturday piggybacks on The Dalles Little League Field Clean up on Saturday, March 11. Sunny weather and a good crowd made quick work of major clean up as Columbia Gorge Toyota and Honda and The Dalles Beautification Committee pitched in with some 20-plus volunteers.
