She remembers taking her son, Jack, at 6 months old and her daughter, Kris, when she was three years old to play at the field. They are now in their 40s.

He's crawled the length of Riverfront Trail on his hands and knees
David and Juanita Neitling were recently recognized for their efforts by The Dalles Riverfront Trail Board with a custom-made plaque, stating, “for your persistent hard work and capital, protecting and preserving the community’s investment in the Riverfront Trail.” Neitling was back to laying rock at Sorosis Park today.
