Santa is coming to town in Goldendale
Santa is at the top of the list for Family Holiday Night on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Goldendale Grange Hall. The free event is open to all and will include ornament and cookie decorating and making a marshmallow snowman.
19th Season Celebration: TD Worship Choir Unites Six Churches for Christmas Concerts
The Dalles Worship Choir is in its 19th season of Christmas concerts. Founded and under the direction of Shawn Lutz (local private music instructor) in 2004. This ecumenical choir has approximately 44 members this season from six different churches.

Capt Mo Donahue Revier stepped down after leading the squadron since June 2020, and 1st Lt Katie Walker took command of the Gorge Composite. On Oct 3, C/Lt Col Isaac Walker, after over two years of leadership, passed command of the cadets to C/2nd Lt Zachary Luhan.

Impromptu Organ Crawl November 18th
Members from the Portland branch of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) caught wind that we here in The Dalles boast five pipe organs, while many towns across the country our size have none. AGO contacted local organist Garry Estep to see about arranging an impromptu “organ crawl” so that some of their members might get literally “hands-on” to see what we have.

Over 250 People Attend Dia de los Muertos Celebration in The Dalles
A Dia de los Muertos celebration at The Dalles Wasco County Library, saw an enormous attendance of over 250 community members last night, November 2nd from 5-7:30 p.m. The event included a resource fair, live music performances from Janelle Santos, and Los Renagados, dancing, pastries, tacos from Tacos Tumbras, hot camelia (a sweet cinnamon spiced herbal tea), ofrendas, crafts, lotería (a game of chance similar to bingo), face painting and a raffle.
