The Dalles Riverhawks volleyball team had their first match of the season on Thursday, September 2nd. They played the North Marion Huskies and won all three games. A team with only one senior and lots of juniors, the Hawks are young but talented.

The Lyle School District Board of Directors is seeking a district resident to fill an at-large position on the board, which was vacated by Lisa Bren on July 28. The appointee will serve through the next general election in 2023, and may file for election to the position. Applications due by September 17th.

North Wasco County Parks and Recreation District survey is seeking public input on replanting, rehabilitation, and changes to Sorosis Park to include in their strategic planning. The survey closes September 8th.
