Wasco County and The Dalles Little League Team Up to Enhance Kramer Field for Youth Baseball

In a heartening display of community spirit, Wasco County staff and The Dalles Little League families joined together in an initiative aimed at enhancing the ballfields at Kramer Field. Over the last two weekends, volunteers and staff gathered at the fields with shovels, rakes, and determination, in preparation for the 2024 season.

Grant to support South Wasco and Hood River County School Districts’ CTE Programming

The Columbia Gorge Education Service District (CGESD) has received a CTE Revitalization Grant of $265,959 in funding through June 2025. The grant will be managed by the Columbia Gorge STEM Hub and will support and expand access to current manufacturing technologies at two local partner school districts, South Wasco County School District and Hood River County School District.
