The Wasco County Cultural Trust Coalition is now accepting grant applications for 2022 projects. Grants are available to individuals and organizations for projects in the arts, humanities, and heritage.

A real coolness pervaded the auditorium at The Dalles High School tonight, Nov. 10. Just 24 hours before curtain call, a cast of characters sat before Director Lowry Browning. It will be the first time in years that these students will go before a live audience, and they are pumped.

World renowned photographer and Mosier resident John Chao invites the public to share a once-in-a-lifetime experience at MoonMountain Highway in Bingen on September 25th, from 6-9 p.m. Chao will display a series of his mega-photographs for the first time ever and will give a talk about his new book 50-Year Vision Quest, a penned memoir composed of 500 photographs taken over his 50 year adventure with the camera.

Richardson to Represent: TDHS student Going to DYW Nationals
Zora Richardson will be taking her talents to Alabama after she wowed judges in Salem on Aug. 7, winning the Oregon Distinguished Young Women’s Program. The ASB President at TDHS said she looked forward to helping out with the 2022 program in Wasco County and thanked those that brought her up.
