Ramsay Signs continue to install classic neon signs in The Dalles today, Jan. 14. The sign company is doing the work for free in cooperation with The National Neon Sign Museum and The Dalles Mainstreet, which procured a $25,000 grant for the signs.

North Wasco County School District 21 has narrowed its search for a permanent superintendent to just three candidates. And one of them is expected to be hired on Friday, Jan. 22. Ramsay Signs arrived this morning, Jan. 11, with multiple cranes to lift four neon signs into place in The Dalles downtown core. Some alleys and side streets have been temporarily closed for the day while the work is being completed.

Annabelle Lavier of The Dalles made her mile walk at Thompson Track this morning, Monday, Jan. 11. The 73-year-old has been coming to the track and field for decades.
